A high-footed amphora with two handles and a pierced cover to hold potpourri. A veduta of a park is painted in a medallion, inscribed below: “Jardin de S. A. le Prince Antoine”. On the opposite side is a black silhouette of a lady inscribed: “Offert par l’Amitié et la Reconnoisance”. Framed in a vibrantly coloured garland wreath with ribbons and gilding.

Samuel Mohn often painted silhouette portraits. A porcelain and glass painter, Mohn was not an employee of the Meissen factory; instead, he worked as a local painter.
